Brady, Rodgers, Brees is reasonable to me, 3 of the most consistent, prolific and brilliant QBs in the game today

It's kind of weird how the narrative on Ben has changed. The Steelers have won just three postseason games in the last six years, but Ben is elite. The six years before that, they made three Super Bowls and won two, and Ben was overrated.

There aren't 15 QBs better than him but he doesn't stand out like a Brady, Brees, or Rodgers. Since that last Super Bowl appearance, he's been upstaged in our consciousness because his team hasn't excelled as much in the postseason and he doesn't submit eye-popping stats. Frankly, I feel if his team was winning more Super Bowls like the Pats he'd be held in higher regard bc his stats roughly resemble Brady's over a long period but that simply hasn't been the case. Still top 15.

Down from 16-0 the year before. To put that into Saints terms, it'd be like losing Brees and going 2-14.

Tom Brady elevates that team from simply playoff-contending team to Super Bowl-contending team and that's been proven consistently with his annual results, if Cassel had led the 08 Patriots to the division title and a playoff win then maybe that argument would mean more but that never happened so that's all theory. Good point Jcorye1.

I know he's talking about the backup spot but how does that justify a #4 ranking??

the Steelers are an elite offense cause of Ben, AB, Bell, and Marty B. Not having Bryant last year really burned them cause no one ever really stepped up in his place and then Big Ben and Bell both had games where they sat out with an injury or something.

You conveniently left off that the Pats were one game worse the next year when Brady came back from injury. 2008 with Cassel: 11-5.......2009 with Brady: 10-6.

It is a shite list, but I absolutely believe Josh Dobbs is talented and intelligent enough to push Landry Jones for the backup spot.

The GOAT QB is Montana, and the GOAT football player is Ed Reed.

They can say whatever they want but Drew will lead the league in yards for the 4th straight year and he has led league in passing 7 out of the last 11 years, ESPN can say what they want but facts are facts

I think he meant that Dobbs could push Landry Jones as the back up

I don't understand why Carr is being looked at so highly. He's been in the NFL for 3 seasons and has had one good year and another solid one.

Everyone is quick to jump on the young QB that looks good. Andrew Luck would have had the colts top five on this list two years ago. Raw talent wise I still think Luck is a top five QB for what it's worth.

Look, Matt Ryan had a helluva year last year but I'd put it in this order: 1) Pats - Brady 2) Packers - Rodgers 3) Saints - Brees 4) Falcons - Ryan 5) Steelers - Roth 6) Raiders - Carr 7) Meh....

I never understood the Rodgers love.

He's maybe 5th for me.

I'll give you Brady, Rodgers, and maybe Wilson. But Derek Carr at #6 is laughable.

Sure, the offense and playing indoors have helped him pile up huge numbers

Drew Brees is the quarterback of that offense. I'd say he's the one helping the offense, not the other way around.

Bree's would not have the numbers he does playing in the snow up north. That being said he is in the top 4 in the league.
