I really like the Dante Fowler pick. His athletic ceiling is lower than Randy Gregory and Shane Ray, but his all-around production and skill is higher than theirs.

How about trading down our pick for 2 first round guys?

Possibly a OL and OLB/DT/DE

OT? In the 2nd? Why?

Bryce Harris, that's why... plus, Strief is older, has injury concerns, and great OT's usually need to be nabbed pretty early in the draft... we need to get a guy that can take Harris' job now, and Strief's in a year or two....

i personally don't think the OT class is a "deep" as some seem to think...

the C/G situation in FA and draft will definitely need to be addressed for numerous reasons.

i think we have a replacement for Grubbs already with Lelito... we need to find a replacement Goodwin right now, and have a guy in the system to replace Evans in a year or so...

IMO, Lelito should have been starting at C the entire year... we seemed to run the ball more effectively with him in than with him out... he plays with a mean streak, which serves interior linemen well....

I would also go after Sammie Coates in the mid rounds if Cooper wasn't available. He was a beast when healthy this year at Auburn!

he was.... and i think he'll light up the Combine, which will push him higher in the draft, so i don't think he'll be there in the mid rounds... just my opinion though... so, we'll see... he'd look great in black and gold though...

am i the only one that thinks Jalen Strong is better than Cooper?

Just think Strong transitions better to the NFL, and reminds me of Dez

You shouldn't pick a guy in the 2nd round to be a backup (see: SJB, etc). You want a 2nd round OL to start.

I would want a C or G long before a OT. If we plug those holes plus CB in FA, ok then.

Certain QB names that tend to just sound right vs ones that don't
"its gonna make me so happy to rip on you for this and point out what a dumbass you are."

that's what I would be saying right now if I didn't do the very same thing.

Flaco and Ross...I mean roth...um...liss...burger kind of screw it up, those are weird names, and "Ryan Leaf" sounds like he'd be a good QB. Andrew Luck is the perfect QB name.

shite like this is why Id be a terrible GM, Id draft any WR or DE with an apostrophe in his first name.

Something doesn't pan out with these picks.

A) If TB wins vs. NO in Week 17, they won't get the #1 pick. Also, if NO wins, they can't get the #10 pick. This #1 and #10 pick don't make sense.
B) They have ATL at #10, therefore meaning that CAR beats ATL in Week 17. However, if that happens, we should be picking BEHIND NO.

I don't see how they had wins and losses for these draft positions to even be possible.

IF Cooper is still there when yall pick, the Saints should trade back IMO. I can see a lot of teams wanting to trade a lot to get him.

He should be #1. I pity the team that takes Mariota over Jameis.

What do you guys think of P.J Williams, the CB from FSU? Wouldn't mind picking him up in the 2nd or 3rd round.

first of all, frick you, frick bama, frick every bama player, coach, and fan that has and will ever live.

with that out of the way, you're totally right, I agree completely. how many times in a row do we need to see a QB from a spread system, especially a run spread, fail in the NFL before people realize that you can't trust what you saw him do in college.

if an NFL team works Mariota out, under NFL conditions, and decides he can make it, fine, great, but as of now, we know very very little about him as a QB.

Winston on the other hand has stood in the pocket 40 times a game and thrown to 2-3 WRs and a TE, which is exactly what he's gonna do in the NFL. people can pretend like the spread is taking over the NFL if they want but 90 percent of every offense is still 2-3 WRs and a TE.
