We have seen them blow games before, but to lose the way they did after completely dominating for 3- quarters, this will be a tough loss to get over. Every player on the team should not accept a paycheck and donate them to the poor people in Maui.

Hate that it might end up being a season defining loss

Well when your D is on the field practically an entire half, you’re going to have a bad time

This is a Saints special.

17-0 is a score that loses games for this franchise.

There's plenty of season left. You have perhaps spoken too soon.

The refs basically gifted GB their first TD drive with the PI calls.

Nah this is who this team is. A team that cannot score over 20 points in a professional football game. Its not a good product and it isn't getting better. It just is what it is.

You are right. But it’s hard to be optimistic with the pitiful play from this offensive line.

I don’t think it’s necessarily season defining but the outlook is bleak with the offensive line that we currently field.

You must not have been alive or remember the epic final drive 4th Q collapses in the 70’s and 80’s when Saints went prevent D. Or the several times we lost to ATL on the last play of the game Hail Mary / Big Ben play. Or when Russell Erxleben muffed a punt snap in OT and gave the game away to ATL. Or … I could name a dozen other Saints choke jobs.

I swear to God I saw it coming a mile away, we have blown more 17 points second half leads that a good hooker blows in a week

A Kenny Stabler-led Saints blowing a 27-6 2nd half lead over the Cowboys to lose 30-27 in OT. 1984, I believe. I’m still convinced The Snake had money on that one and threw it.

Bobby Hebert almost single-handedly blowing a 20-6 halftime lead over the Eagles in the playoffs, losing 36-20.

How about the Flipper Anderson debacle in ‘89? Saints were ahead 17-3 with 4 minutes left. Yep they lost!
