He's sure taking a long time "thinking." Sounds like our chances are getting slimmer by the minute.

Packers free-agent CB Tramon Williams is visiting the Cleveland Browns today, per source.

with lewis and browner on the roster, he may not like the idea of being a #3.

I think he would still be the three in Cleveland. We don't really need him anyways

Williams would be our 2, Browner better suited for 3

It's quite possible our offer is off the table. The window may have passed, since he was offered we signed two players and picked up another via trade.

2 vs 3 doesn't really matter much. I think it be based off of matchups

Not sure we could afford him now.

We'd likely let go of Bush if we wanted him

Well Browner is almost relegated to strictly outside work. So playing matchups with him are somewhat limited. It's either he or Lewis drawing the WR1 on the outside. Williams brings a bit more versatility i think.

idk. no CBs over the age of 32 on an NFL roster. Williams has miles, maybe his age brings a discount, who knows

More importantly he's visiting NE tomorrow, they need him desperately so they will offer him a little more than us and Green Bay did and he will sign there.

I being optimistic in taking it as Green Bay didn't match our offer.

Think the Spiller signing was the end of us pursuing him. Loomis brings in guys in order of interest. Williams left then Spiller signed a deal similar to the one Williams was offered. Don't think we get him unfortunately.
