LB Ray Shipman and WR Jarred Fayson are sitting out Monday's practice. Fayson hasn't touched the field since camp started.

Rod Sweeting and Chris Carr have consistently rotated in with the first teamers at CB.

Greer, Keenan, PRob, Sweeting and Carr...we got depth.

Not much to discuss from 1 on 1s. Corey White made a nice play in the end zone, breaking up pass to Chris Givens.

It's going to be battle for those reciever spots after Colston, Morgan and Moore

Andy Tanner made a few really good plays the day that I was there. Never drops a pass. Was in the rotation with the first string and seems to have developed a good relationship with Drew.

Tanner's game reminds me a lot of Moore's

Update: Eric Martin is tearing it up, Chase Thomas is running with the two's, and Jason Smith is struggling.

Now I have to study for my final.

Good News for Saints.

As long as CB is healthy and Terron is ever improving, we'll be okay.

Here's the thing though. Andy Tanner would be useful, but he wouldn't necessarily see the field before the other five guys. So, if he's just sitting on the bench, wouldn't you rather have Roby on the team who's greatest asset is special teams? I hate not having Tanner, but it's still really nice to have a great special teamer with Roby.

It all comes down to numbers and how you allocate your roster spots. A 6th WR who sits all year or a 6th WR who is also a great special team guy. You get more value with Roby than Tanner, even though Tanner is probably the better receiver.

I hope he proves me wrong, though. Tanner is one those players you want to see break into the league.

I don't know...Roby looked pretty dam n good as a receiver last year in the preseason. yes preseason, I know. But with Brees throwing to him, he just needs to catch the ball. I think he could fill in.
