Big damn day for our receivers.

Coleman, Toon, Tanner, and especially Cooks were making plays right and left.

Hopefully by next season at least one of Reddick or Fortt can step up and take a starting ILB job.

Well, with the Saints staying so close to the cap the last couple of seasons, they need these late round guys and UDFA to develop quickly. They can get quality work from them for cheap.

I'll be rooting for both of these guys. I'd love to combine their size, along with Jimmy's, with the speed of Stills and Cooks.

Good balance of big and speed.

Just asked Sean Payton about the status of Champ Bailey. His response "we don't discuss injuries at training camp."

When did Bailey get injured?

Did I miss that?

Agreed. I'd be surprised is Hawthorne isn't a cap casualty, so one out of Humber, Fortt, or Reddick has a good chance to be starting there next year.

Just been catching bits and pieces, I hear Toon is having a great camp. How's Coleman looking? Camp body, or contender?

No one reported him limping or appearing to be injured, so I don't know.

Today is the 1st. Ingram was drafted in the 1st. Could be his day.

Imaging a goal line 1 back set w/ Colston, Coleman, Toon, Graham all posting up.

That was really strange.

I've been up all night partying.

Just spent 3 hours fishing for 2 bass and 1 goggle eye.

Back to the Natty Ice.
Yes, I'm poor and surprisingly still awake.

Any news on our rookie Ronald Powell. Will he make the team? Play mostly special teams? Or is he just a guy who looks the part in a uniform but won't play in this league? Powell and Baptise look like studs in a uniform, hopefully they have what it takes.

The guy's a 36 yr old all-pro corner. It makes no sense to burn him up in camp. If he's washed up, he's gonna be cut; if he's not, he will start.
One way or the other, I think Ryan and Payton have seen enough to make that call. Given that we've heard good things about him, and he's already starting to sit back in practice, I'd say he's good to go

Haven't heard anything about the rookie linebackers. That's a hard position to pick up in the NFL.

Ingram admitted he has a tendency to press and try to make a big play because he sometimes has limited opportunities.

We're going to have to drop a lot of great talent this year. Hopefully we're able to store some guys away on the practice squad. LB is going to be a tough group to crack b/c of the veterans and everyone brings something specific to the team.

I remember the Miami preseason game last year when Robinson was showing him up big time. Ingram responded by running like his hair was on fire and promptly fumbled the ball inside his own 20.
