Could we have so much better depth at CB that they are trying to find a better spot for White?

Looks like Leilito job to lose.

Why is PT running with two's?

Looks like a great camp for competition at WR's this year. Going to be great to watch.

Brees and Jimmy seem on fire already!

Yeah, it's been that way the past couple of years. I actually really dig preseason.

The damn reverse doesn't even work in PRACTICE!!!

In theory, they hand the ball off, reversing the field, and the defense is like "W w w w w w w w w what dog?"

Give it to the TE coach

Have you planned a day to visit Paddy? The little town looks great. I would bet they are going to be a whodat fan base in WV before its all over.

I thought about it. We had some friends that were going to medical school near the area, and we could have stayed with them, but they moved. It just wasn't in our finances to take the trip.

1) Saints D should improve, but w/changes, there is a leadership void. Coaches are looking to Lofton, Vaccaro, Jordan and, soon, Byrd there.

2) Growth for Saints should come thru sophomores, particularly on offense with Kenny Stills, Khiry Robinson, Tim Lelito and Terron Armstead.

3) Really, there are two spots up for grabs on D in New Orleans – LCB and SLB. At corner, rookie Stanley Jean-Baptiste has impressed early.

4) Another potential breakout player on defense for New Orleans: DL Akiem Hicks, who, like Jean-Baptiste, is a fit for Rob Ryan’s scheme.

5) Lots of eyes on Brandin Cooks, but another WR to watch is Nick Toon. Coaches want to find snaps for him. A potential '15 heir to Colston.

6) Confidence in NOLA is palpable. Expectations are high. So Payton told me pre-camp message to the guys was simple: “Nothing is promised.”

It may be part of the reason why you're seeing White taking some snaps at safety. Perhaps they feel SJB can contribute early.

By the way, our secondary coach is pretty dang good.

If White don't shine at safety which seems as deep as CB he could be on thin ice.
