No. I think the staff is just being very careful with some of our senior players making sure they don't start Week 1 with a nagging injury that affects them all year.

Also, I think there is a legitimate battle for the No.2 QB. They want to see both of those guys a bunch in games. No reason to rush Drew even with a small tweak.

As I've said before they will not protect RG on the PS this year. Should be plenty of game time to sort it out between the two. Give Drew about 4 qts and the rest for the battle.
I'm sure they know the ceiling of McCown not so much RG so its the kids chance and I wish him well.
