Joe horn was 28/29 his first year as a saint. He did some major damage in a short span. Most of his great years were on the wrong side of 30

Soooo much better than Colston and more consistent

During his career he was severely underrated.

Glover, all pro... led league in sacks, 50 sacks in 5 years as a DT is stellar. Knight's int's were great as well but he's behind glover in the totem pole.

Glover was a great player for one year, an excellent one for two and pretty good the rest

17/50 sacks came in one year. It is definitely an outlier. 25/50 in his NOLA stint. I can't argue with him being on anyone's list but he's not a slam dunk over knight IMO

You don't like RB's. That's what it is.

We can argue semantics of these lists all day long. I'm not saying Glover and Evans weren't/aren't great players, but to say it's idiotic to have Deuce on one is............idiotic.

Give me one legitimate reason that puts Knight above Glover. One.

Why shouldn't he be in the top 5? I am just going off of what most people use as their reasoning for certain people to be on these lists. HoF, Probowl, All Pro, SB MVP, and stuff like that.

Plus you did say this when throwing up Archie's stats:
quote:

Sorry. I fail to see the brilliance of an all team great, potential HOF QB in there

So I just showed the stats of a HoF QB and they aren't much different except the Superbowl wins and team.

I do if they warrant it. Saints don't exactly have an incredible history of running backs historically speaking. Deuce top 5 is a joke.

As an all time great player or as an all time great saint? I view the 2 very differently

great player as a saint, give me one reason knight over glover. What did he accomplish or be awarded that was superior to something Glover did during his time here.

I put a note on mine saying i excluded kickers. If you were to have a legitimate top 5 including kickers, he would be given a spot. but talking kickers is boring.

i concur.

When the guy was healthy, he was a beast. He pretty much won us that playoff game against Philly single-handedly. He's still the Saints all time rusher and was the TD leader until Colston.
