How can Payton and Ryan succeed with bench scrub players and rookies all over the field. They need time man. This isn't college. People play in the NFL for years and years. We're in a rebuilding phase. It's annoying as frick to watch.
None of this is a coaching issue? The defense wasn't doing a whole helluva lot with veterans either.
ETA: over the long haul, not cherry-picking years

Calm down there bro

I'd have to disagree. Every coach is entitled one down year.

Good thing a lot of you people don't run a football team, yall want a new coach after any loss

I don't think that SP is the issue. I think that we are either too old or too young in critical areas.
I do think that we need to change up some of the assistants such as OL, DL and Secondary.
We also need a new Special Teams coach. We are atrocious in that area. I know that the NFL has legislated out the kickoff return but being able to return a punt is absolutely critical.
Finally, we need a new Strength and Conditioning coach. The cross fit stuff does not work. Go get a Moffitt disciple and let him whip the team into shape. And before you say that I am being an LSU homer, those strength coaches have won National Championships at Alabama and Florida State so it is a strength and conditioning program that works. To go along with the new strength coach, we should have camp in Millsaps or New Orleans. The Greenbrier was a disaster.
I think that SP can learn from this season and get back to being on top. I give him at least 1-2 more years to see if he still has the touch.

No, I want a new coach when it looks like the team is unraveling and the coach has lost his edge

I'll take him at LSU.

It's impossible to be a fan of both?

Between the bounty scandal, lack of defense all but a couple years, and losing his courage, this team is heading the wrong way.
Nothing against him personally, I just think it's time for a change
No, no, no.
It's time to go down with the ship. This is what we've been worried about for a couple of years now. The only thing we can do is go down with the ship and be thankful for the years that we had.

The decision to punt with 8 minutes left and down 3 scores is one of the most atrocious I've ever seen

Proof?
I have defended Miles in the past, but I don't think anyone is immune
By the way, you're in here downing me about saying something about Payton, but you rail against Miles any chance you get

One down year since 2009 and sp needs to go, ha. This is comical.
I'll play this game though. Who do you want to bring in? What big name coach do you think would come to new Orleans? You're alright with canning sp and bringing in an unproven commodity? or an unproven coordinator ?

I'm not going to jump to such rash decision as "idiot" bc I hear where your coming from. I think his offense has become VERY predictable to say the least. I'm in the medical orifrssion and if I can sit and lredict 80 plus % of the plays I think the people who do it for a living sure can... That being said I liked Carmicheal.. I thought he did well in Sean's absence..
Ryan on the other hand.. Idk.. So much man coverage puts our obv under skilled defensive backs in a position to fail.:. That being said; Cory white is the closest thing to Helen Keller you can get in an nfl uniform..

What?
Have you seen Patrick Robinson play zone? We have man to man corners.
