Any chance that he ends up playing a pretty significant role in our running game?

He used to be a pretty good goal line back and score a lot of TDs. I could see hime being a hell of a goal line back if we build a good offensive line and if he comes back from his injuries.

I doubt he makes the team but I hope he does and does well.

We'll probably end up with an UDFA back as our 4, if he contributes, awesome.

I'm thinking we only keep 3 RB's on the 53 man roster & keep a UDFA RB on the practice squad just in case.

we have been known to keep 4 rb's so i think he has as good a chance as cadet had for sticking around for a couple years barring injury

0 chance of making the team. You've already got 3 proven veteran backs as a lock. If you're keeping a spot for a fourth RB, why not go with a UDFA?

It may come down to whether he can contribute on special teams

He's six years and a major injury removed from scoring in the Superdome in the playoffs vs. the Saints on the first play from scrimmage.

He has no chance. They're not keeping a veteran at #4.

His best chance of making the team is impressing the coaches at camp and then getting a shot in November when Ingram and Robinson are inevitably injured.

The odds are long for sure that he will make the team but as is the case with Kenny Phillips being here too, it can't hurt. If either, especially Phillips, can somehow return to resembling the form they showed in the past, they will make the team and be great value signings. Just don't hold your breath I would say.

Will be quality depth, but won't play much over Robinson, let alone Spiller and Ingram.

Still think they should have saved the 4 mil on Spiller and gotten Gordon late first or Gurley or Ajayi or FA later on down the line. Worst case a 1-2 mil guy. Usually one of the 4 or 5 rb's they bring in work out well
