Ticket question for the Raiders vs. Saints game

It has been over ten years since i've been to a saints game. I think the last time was when they played the raiders in 2002. Me and my family are wanting to go to the raiders vs saints game this september. There will be 4 of us. I have been looking online at different sites and ticket prices are kind of expensive. In your experience do the ticket prices start dropping closer to game time or go up? Also are scalpers hard to deal with at the game if we decide to go this route? TIA

yes typically prices drop as you get closer to the game, especially the night before and day of the game. Being that it is the first game of the year, prices may stay higher than it would if we were playing in week 10 and didnt have a good record.

Getting 4 seats together for the season opener,on the morning of the kickoff, for face or less....will be VERY difficult, to say the least !

Also, unless you plan on having the scalper walk you to the door, it's a gamble that you have legit tickets with legit barcodes.
It's more expensive, but i'd just bite the bullet and make purchase on the aftermarket tickets. It's more fun to not be stressing about getting legit tickets.

Yeah I am leaning towards biting the bullet and just doing it. Thanks for the replies

Wait until the day before or day of and buy an instant download ticket
You'll pay way less. Probably not face for an opener, but you'll save some big$$

nah. it wont be difficult.I would say the prices now are higher than they will be 1 week before the game.

Disagree.
And tickets will easily be cheaper right before the game. It honestly won't even be close
