Depends how high we need to move up and what we have to give up, but I say we stay where we are

Yeah don't ruby they'd mind jumping a spot or so, but don't think they're gonna go crazy.

The only trade up into top 5 is for Mariota

Disagree. We need a WR.

In see no need to do this. It'd just be a waste of a pick. I mean if we wanted a top-flight WR, we can most likely snag Parker at 13.

Edit: When I say waste of a pick I mean the one(s) we'd be giving up to move up. Obviously taking Cooper with any pick wouldn't be a waste of THAT pick.

Agree we need a WR. Disagree we need to trade picks for one.

The first three selections need to be spent on quality positions. DE/DT, OG/OT, OLB/MLB. Or even a CB.

I see us drafting two WR's in the draft. A big target in the 3rd and a speedy option project in the 5th. We will find some good players in the draft at those picks and with Brees and Payton hopefully at their best next year, we'll continue our pattern of "making" players.

The saints "could" move up to draft Cooper...

Boy he's really going out on a limb. Yes, it is possible, even legal, for the Saints to move up. They "could" also forfeit all their picks and boycott the draft.

It's not THE missing piece we have to trade up to get. Atlanta thought J. Jones was THE missing piece. We have too many wholes to fill to move up. If Cooper isn't there, we can grab Parker, Perriman, Dorial Green-Beckham or Diggs in the later rounds.

Brees has never had a true #1 WR. I used to be in the same boat, we could just plug in anyone and get what we need, but it's clear we need a playmaker now. We need someone who is not only fast, but strong too. I love Colston as much as the next Saints fan, but Amari Cooper would be a monster in our offense.

Don't trade up. He's not explosive enough. Slightly overrated imo. Talent of a low 1st rounder.
