thats a key factor to making it to a SB. we did it in 09 with a defense like that. green bay did the same thing.
we just need the nfc teams to lose some games so we can get home field

Through 4 games in 2013 season:
we have been scored on for 13.75ppg (we scored 27ppg)
picked off opposing QBs 7 times
recovered 3 fumbles
and sacked opposing QBs a total of 12 times
Through the first 4 games of the 2009 season:
we were scored on for 16.5ppg (we scored 36ppg)
picked off opposing QBs 7 times
recovered 3 fumbles
and sacked opposing QBs a total of 11 times
we have been scored on for 13.75ppg (we scored 27ppg)
picked off opposing QBs 7 times
recovered 3 fumbles
and sacked opposing QBs a total of 12 times

the difference is that this year we don't have to rely on turnovers. we were playing well, getting key stops, and the turnovers are just gamechanging because once we got ahead 14 our defense was suffocating

The DB's are young and they cant get to cocky, lets let them stay focus and healthy. Just incase we dont get the Number NFC Seed... And all real Saints Fans knows what happens when we have to get on the road.

The reason that our D this year is better than 09 is we are are not having to blitz every single play in order to get pressure.
