What team in the history of the NFL gave up 400+ yard passing in a game and eneded up playing in the superbowl?
I don't know, you tell us.

Obviously a retarded poster. Ryan was on fire like I said earlier, both offenses were. Although our kicker hit his kicks today, it seems like the times ya'll have beat us in the past is off your kickers leg. Next game will come down to the wire also, does almost every time.

Ryan is good, but he's not as good as we made him look. Get pressure on him, and he folds. Our D line was manhandled today, and we all thought it was supposed to be the strength of our defense. I was worried about our CB situation before this game started, but I thought our D line was going to be ferocious. If the D line can't play better, we're in for a long season.

Yep. What was Ryans longest pass (yac aside)? I can't remember a deep ball.. Ryan checks down more than anyone (it seems) and we should know this. D was a letdown, but the offense should have been running away with this game at halftime.

Which makes the Saints double high safeties alignment even more fricking stupid. It cannot be stressed enough how much Rob Ryan's gameplan sucked.

His receivers were also wide open most of the time.

He hit some beautiful 20 yds passes today. Granted we were playing 20 yds off the damn ball.

How long was the one to JJ when he fumbled the ball in the 1st quarter?

this was the reason RR was fired by Jerry World

Yeah but I don't remember anything over the top. We had our safeties playing way too high. We played scared of their WR combo(s), and played safe. Would've worked better if the offense could have put these guys away (which they should have).

Truth is that Ryan didn't adjust at all, and his DL was horrible. Junior got paid and quit on plays all game. Congrats to him pulling a Charles Grant so far.

The DBs are just lost and no one seems to know how to tackle. It's 2012-esque and it isn't just the scheme now, but that is the biggest problem.

He threw to wide open recievers with min pressure. Get ready for that lack of electricity to follow us all season long.

How was Matt Ryan on fire?
He was hitting WIDE open receivers and had almost no pressure.
Granted he made a couple of good throws to receivers that were covered, but for the most time it was pitch and catch against a horrendous secondary.

Defense sucked period. And those godamned late over the middle passes time and time and time again beat us... AGAIN.

Overreacting I think not, falcons where a 4-12 team last year. Saints defense look terrible at ever aspect of the game. With that defense Saints will be lucky to go 9-7.

Ryan was good yes. But I was there watching and the Saints defensive scheme was bad. Our backs were playing 10-20yds off the line most all day. No picks, and he scrambled for quite a few yds.
