Then imagine my elation if Tulane were to have a shot a college football national championship. It's much, much less likely than a Saints championship, and thus would probably mean more to me.

Saints superbowl win is better for the state and city of nola than mnc is for baton rouge and the state. Well, maybe not cause I can see the city of new orleans getting set on fire if the saints win the superbowl.

Yeah, it hurt.
I know he's gonna be healthy in about a month, but it pisses me off that he's gonna miss every pre season game.
hopefully he'll still get a lot of time on special teams this season though.

yeah, i agree. it sucks that even the smallest nicks can set you back so much, especially when you are a rookie trying to make an impact. he'll be fine.

Did I miss the memo? Is 'Hell' going to freeze this Fall? If not, I'll go with LSU winning a Chamionship again.

What I don't get is how the three letters L S U is allowed on the saints board. If someone asked a question that had the Saints in it over on the rant, whoaaaaaaaaaaaaa boyyyyyy look out!

only your opinion, not fact. and i am pretty sure LSU won't even sniff a championship this year. just MY opinion....

You can rest easy Whodatfan and put the butter knife away. I've been a Saints fan for 42 yrs. and I've gotten weary of hope about 20 yrs back.

On a good note though Whodatfan, the Saints just might sign Derrick Brooks for a year. I have met him and talked a little football with him on an occassion or two. He's a leader and has a few things he could teach the younger guys before he hangs up his cleats. Keep your fingers crossed but keep the butter knife in the kitchen drawer. LOL

If it's a question of who would I rather win a Championship....then....after 42 yrs. it would be nice if the Saints could just get to a Super Bowl. Winning it would be great for LA and the people of N.O. and fans everywhere. Aftermath destruction to the city would not a be a good thing though.

I've invested waaaay too much time and money to just be happy with getting to a SB. If we go, I'm gonna expect us to win it, even if its against the Steelers or Patriots.

When we beat the Pats on Nov. 30th to put us at 9-2, the intensity and hype will be so high that we will steam roll to the championship winning 8 straight. I just visioned that.
