Look I know this has probably been said in here a 100 times but Rob Ryan is not the whole problem here, part of it yes. But the major problem with this team is micky Loomis and the front office along with Payton and their personnel decisions. Payton is a great coach and would love to see him remain our coach for years to come but him and Loomis have made some beyond terrible personnel moves.. our cap situation is awful and we have no talent on both sides of the ball honestly. We have had 1 good draft in 5 years and that is thanks to Ireland. Overpaid Byrd, galette, Browner, Evans making too much and there are several others. The only hope for the franchise is to start having good drafts for the next few years and hope that brees window stays open because we have zero money to sign any game changing free agents.

It's hard for the Saints to bring in free agents. It's not the draft. These guys have a choice. Sometimes you have to pay more than market value to get them in the Black & Gold. When you lose as many draft picks as we have. Sometimes you have to reach a bit to field a team. Agreed Loomis's performance has been suspect at best. I guess my 2 cents is that the Saints are a big shite sandwich right now. Everybody gets a bite.

Absolutely none of this has been discussed in the 30 threads on the first page. Thanks for the new and refreshing material.

That is a lot of post though impressive. Man Saints talk has been rough lately, lot's of anger I've let go of mine finally two straight years of apathy from my to favorite teams will do that.

i love how people just give automatic credit to ireland for the draft thats yet to be determined still. like they know everything that goes on behind the scenes.

Well the guys obviously have talent as they've shown

It isn't his job to develop them

jbritt25 isn't kind of funny that the sarcastic responders offer criticism but nothing constructive
but if you spotlight them they get very defensive.
Through the years I've found these are the same people who stand back and criticize how someone handles a problem or situation but offer no help or answer while they stand there with there hands in their pockets.

NEVER SAID IN DEFENSE OF MICKEY LOOMIS. "obviously have talent" is kind of debatable.
