It has become a year to year league… That is why the signing of Derek Carr is absolutely the best thing possible for the Saints! Just look at the Vegas odds for the Saints to make the playoffs next year! Great job by Mickey Loomis!

What competition horseshite. KC has been in 5 straight AFCCG and 3 SB. And before you well they have SF had been to 3 NFCCG and 1 SB the last 4 years.

You still need to develop WR, DE, CB, and OT.
Having a great QB on a rookie contract is great but the above positions are very good as well.
Having those positions on cheap contracts can off set the QB position.
Saints will have Penning, Olave, Shaheed, and Taylor on cheap contracts.
Had Turner been a hit instead of a bust the Saints would be set. Saints still need another interior OL badly this draft. I'm ready for Peat to go.

And they have a shite ton of free agents that they will not sign… They will be back to the middle of the pack within the next couple of years because of the astronomical figure they’re gonna have to pay Hurts! We got Derek Carr on a middle tier contract! If we had the right pieces around him, we will supplant the Eagles in the next two years!

Thats because they have the Saints to trade with. They are much better at trades and the draft.
