When was the last time our D had a GLS like that? I seem to remember we did something of similar nature not long ago but the game wasn't as significant. That was unbelievable what they did. I had no idea our front 7 had it in them. See what difference shanle makes...

I admit, I thought Mendenhall would power his way in regardless if we won that challenge or not.

So did I but they proved us wrong. Great challenge and great stand.

It was a huge defensive message and may have been the turning point of the game for the Saints D? Our defense played lights out other than a few ling runs for Pgh.

Let's face it.. The D looked good last night.. First time this season they looked good in my opinion. Maybe the tide is turning and it'll all fall into place the next few weeks.

I'm praying for an Atl losing streak.

Excellent stand, i thought the challenge was pretty much a waste but they proved me wrong. Def. looked great and props to the secondary playing with almost nothing but safties back there

How many teams (ever) have had a goal line stand against the Steelers with 1st and goal on the 1 inch line?

Goal line stand was a thing of beauty. Great job of coaching by Payton to review the td.

His butt was on the ground before the ball crossed the white line. He extended after he was down to cross the line.

Agreed. I think the Atlanta game was their only poor performace. They've been stuffing the run very well. I'm really happy with the DT play this season.

I think 1st down was THE play of that stand. Set that "frick you, you're not getting in" mentality when Ellis blew through the line immediately and dropped them for a loss.

It was a thing of beauty. The meltdown in the game thread when Payton challenged was hilarious.
