The size differential was very apparent. They made big plays on the line and at the corner positions. And come to think of it, the backs made big run stops. Frick it.. They played well as a whole.

We could've claimed Ahmad Brooks off waivers a few years ago

Those SOB's bring the wood physically every single play. I even sent a text to a friend during the game to the effect of "these f'ers hit big".

I agree with Harbaugh's decision for him to be the starter. Regardless of hurt feelings among grown men, you can tell he has more talent and more athleticism than Alex Smith, and he oozes confidence, something 49ers offensive can feed off of. Save for a few miscues, he played damn well in the dome in a packed house.

But RG3... he ain't. The 49ers already have their scheme, where as the reds are building a scheme around RG3. Maybe in time the 49ers might change it, but its sill to early to start throwing those names together.

Ehhh, It's too early to tell how good either QB will be. To be honest, I think both can be very very good NFL QBs.

Right. Because Kaepernick probably wasn't top 10 in the nation in yards from scrimmage. Because Kaepernick probably doesn't have the highest QBR of any QB in his first start. Because Kaepernick isn't playing for one of the best QB tutors in the game. Because didn't just come into one of the most hostile events in sports and sling darts all over the field. Because Kaepernick didn't rush for almost double RG3's senior season total. Because Kaepernick's release isn't as tight and quick as RG3's.

None of the above is true. Just listen to exactly what ESPN says.

PT is the best of the bunch in every aspect and that is not arguable.

Chis Ivory is the best back we have he can bust through the line and when he gets in the open field he does not get caught,he also can catch a screen pass and is capable of taking it to the house when ever he gets the ball....

im just sayin the kid is no slouch. Im not contending he is the second coming of Joe Montana. He can play. He has played well thus far and after 2 solid W's he is getting his shot.

I wouldnt put him on RGIII level as far as explosiveness but there is no denying, from objective football fans, that this kid has HUGE potential with the talent around him.

Anyone who can't recognize Kaepernick's obvious skill and potential should stop watching the game. Kid has a limitless ceilling.

I was not as impressed as you are. If Drew doesn't throw two picks the Saints win.

I'll answer for the people in this thread:

Sorry dude, but apparently if you cant tell from a guys second start over two mediocre defenses with injuries in the middle of the season that he is the coming of the messiah and a game changing quarterback you must be an idiot and i hope you never reproduce.

great. so lets expect 1 player to play perfectly all the time, while others are free to miss tackles, drop passes, whiff on blocks, etc.. every damn play.

thats fair.

FWIW, a completed catch or not, Colston should have at least brought that pass down. Hit him square in the hands. Only 1 INT is on Drew.

Sorry, but this is the truth. Not to mention the fact we were starting a RT from off the street.

Kaepernick definitely has potential, but gushing that it's 'limitless' and 'RGIII-esque' is too much at this point.
