In reality, that's a stupid attempt at witticism, but in all honesty, let the boys rock out the dome patrol era unis, I'd love to see that again.

I'd love to see the black helmets. I did hear a rumor last year that the Saints were applying to the NFL to wear the black helmets for one game this season. According to the "source," you must apply a year in advance for any uniform change.

Trent Dilfer wore an old Terry Bradshaw (see below) type Dungard facemask in the 90's. I thought that the NFL outlawed those old facemasks after that, but, apparently, they're just " discouraged."



Therefore, it's doubtful the NFL would approve the old style facemask.

I wouldn't mind black helmets for a game. I also wish they would wear white on white for a game.

They used to do that and with the gold helmets it looked pretty sweet.
