I was talking with some friends during the game and I don't think there is an NFC team that just utterly dominates Sean Payton teams more than the Redskins. I believe we are 1-3 against them, with the one win coming from the Robert Meachem strip TD and a missed 23 yard field goal. They beat us in 2006 when we were playing to win the division, RG3 pounded us during the bounty suspension year, and now this last arse whooping.

I would have to but the Redskins and Ravens as two teams that Sean's system doesn't seem to work against, with the Rams and Seahawks right up there.

Ravens are #1 to me. Have we even beaten them under Payton yet?

the last time I think we beat the Ravens was 2002. I think that even may have been the only time we've beaten the Ravens.

Rams, Redskins & Ravens.

Saints always have issues beating the Redskins. The only time I remember us beating them is the year we went to the Super Bowl and that was an overtime game.

Saints have always had trouble beating the Browns and Jets too.

We always seem to lose to the browns.

Under Payton (including 2012 and playoffs) we are:
0-2 against the Broncos
0-3 against the Ravens
1-4 against the Redskins
1-2 against the Bengals, Browns, and Titans
2-3 against the Rams and Seahawks
8-11 against the Panthers

On the flipside:
2-0 against the Bills, Chargers, Dolphins, Jags, and Raiders
4-1 against the Vikings, Lions, and Giants
3-1 against the Colts
14-5 against the Falcons
5-2 against the Cowboys and Eagles
12-7 against the Bucs

yep, the Saints are 1-4 all-time against the Ravens with Jake Delhomme being the only Saints QB to beat them

I would add the rest of the AFC North to this as well.

14-5 against the Falcons

And even that is skewed to older dates. Since 2012 NO is currently 4-3 against ATL with still 1 more game this season.
And really, it's all how you want to skew stats. IF Atlanta wins later in the year, ATL has won 3 of the last 4.

I think what I'm trying to get at is that some of the 'magic' has kinda gotten stagnant.

No, it is hi record vs the dirty birds. You're the only one trying to skew them

2015: 1-0
2014: 0-2
2013: 2-0
2011: 2-0
2010: 1-1
2009: 2-0

Loos like 1 outlier to me

Sure, to make my point. Yes, I was.

But the post that I replied to only showed the losing records since 2012 but showed the winning records since Payton's arrival.
That's my point. That's also skewed.

I was trying to correlate the Saints vs. Falcons records since 2012.

Only team Brees has not beaten in his career.

See above. Those are with Payton

You can't use the year that Payton wasn't our coach as evidence of a changing trend with Payton. That is retarded

Right now, 2014 is nothing but an outlier. Can't call it a trend

I thought he was suspended the 2013 year, right? That year without payton I still think y'all went 2-0 against us.

Mike Smith definitely owned Payton last year in his farewell tour and y'all went 0-2. No skewing that.
