Falcons and Eagles should be both ranked at the bottom. That's purely my opinion on interactions with them. I still remember seeing a Falcons fan give a shiner to an old fat man. That poor guy had his Saints hat knocked off his head and I'll be damned if he didn't break his arm preventing it from hitting the ground.

Surprised a little about KC. Always heard a great place to go see a game and great fans.

I've been to a game @ Tampa before and thought the stadium was alright, fun trip.

but it wasn't a loud crowd at all. Fans there seemed lackadaisical and occasionally it sort of got loud... but nothing that made you say DAMN that's impressive.

went to the Georgia Dome a few times. Wasn't a good or bad experience either time. I remember exchanging in some pleasantries with some of their fans.

or talking shite.. however you want to say it.

never been to Carolina's stadium or ever met an actual Carolina fan.

yeah the Eagles being in the top five tells me they are using drastically different metrics than I would've used, but whatever.

Pretty much a combination of

Who goes to the the most home games and buys the most stuff

Who has the biggest internet presence

and who travels the best.

It's interesting in a dead football period. Training camp starts soon then no one will care because everyone is undefeated.

Yeah but when you say best and worst fans I think most people go right to who are the biggest assholes? Maybe the headline should have been a study of the NFL's most committed fans?

True Philly is the second base I think of when I think a-holes. But only because I'm biased against the Falcons (who blew a 25 point third quarter lead in the Superbowl F.Y.I)

It's funny my hatred of the Falcons takes second place to no one, but I have zero experience with any of their fans. But I'd still probably rank them #1 too

I read a few years back that they had season ticket holders from all 50 states. The study ranked them low because they had the fewest twitter followers.

The one diehard falcon fan I know is one of the nicest, most genuine people I have ever worked with. We gave each other shite about the rivalry but it's really good natured. He left to do consulting last December so I never got the chance to see him after the super bowl debacle. Honestly probably wouldn't have given him any grief over it, he's too good a dude.

I understand how the study was done but when I think of worst I think of eagle fans. Best? Never cowboy fans.
