He's had a good year for a rookie.

I think he had a really good overall year, but he sucked today.

He doesn't seem to have superior natural instincts. Just basic stuff he isn't excelling at.

It mostly isn't. Rookies should get 3 full seasons to develop.

He seems better against the run. Also, he will probably improve his quickness of defensive audibles next year. He is a very big part of our problemnthis year. But i expect him to get better

much too short of an evaluation period to write him off, and i think with a better cast around him to take some of the burden off him, it would go a LONG way..... to be asked to be the heart and soul of an NFL defense from day one, essentially, is not an easy task....

we have to get better up front... period.... we could have dick butkus at Mike right now, and he would be able to do a thing because he'd be constantly fighting off blockers that just pancaked our d line...

Not really. Our pass defense against TE's and RB's has been atrocious this season, and a lot of that falls on the LBs. Anthony makes some big plays, but those are surrounded by poor coverage and blown assignments. LB is also the easiest position on defense to transition to the NFL with. A large majority DROYs are LBs.

I'm not going to call him a bust or anything, but people acting like we killed it with our draft class are wrong. Breaux, and UDFA, has been incredible. Swann was pretty solid throughout the season when he was healthy. Kikaha was awesome in his first 3 or 4 games, but has been poor since. Anthony hasn't played well overall. Peat looks good at RT but doesn't look like a natural OG.

There is no position in the NFL that = instant translation. You are getting to be just as bad as alejandro.

There's many that translate instantly if you're first round and good
