Is it true? Maybe. Cross your fingers.

Believe or not, I don't care.

ETA: guy who works in the building was wrong. DA staying. We are fricked.

If true, I hope they have a plan for the replacement.

If they fire Allen and replace him with Gruden, this franchise is hopeless. Allen is bad and deserves to be fired. Gruden is old, has outdated concepts, and is not the answer.

I hope it’s Vrabel.

Could coach for 20 more years.

Should have been fired a while ago. He can't go back into that locker room. He's a wormy douche and it's become very apparent to everyone in the organization except Loomis and GB who just sit around and take no swift action (presumably spineless).

Louisiana sports fans are fools.Gruden has more football
knowledge in his pinky than you people. If JG was HC last
year the Saints win 12 games and look good doing it.

It'd be a great day for Saints fans. Of course, the replacement would have to be a marked improvement. There's definitely some good candidates available this year; more than usual.

Look, maybe it happens.

But this thread is pretty funny. He says he has a source that he's getting fired today...

Then immediately backtracks in the first sentence

You're the fool. Some old retread isn't going to cut it. He'd be McCarthy 2.0. Only JG would probably have more self-inflicted damages.

Don't hold your breath. Why fire DA now and not at end of the season especially how the final snap went down? Atlanta, LA, and others have already started interviewing. Delayed action, inaction, and/or ineptitude of the FO/ownership is sinking the ship. I'm surprised players haven't stepped forward to force their way out.

It sort of makes it even worse.

You wait this long to fire him, putting yourself behind what? 8 other teams in the process?

It would be malpractice if you were going to fire him not to do it 2-3 weeks ago.

The only explanation is that they have already zeroed in on someone, will give a cursory Rooney Rule interviews, and go get their guy. Risky
