Spot duty is totally different from being a full time NFL quarterback. So we don’t know how he’ll respond and perform long term. He certainly has physical talent, but will that be enough?

I don’t know. He coul be great as a starter, but you don’t replace Brees unless you’re 100% sure it will work out. If it doesn’t, you would go down in NFL history as an idiot and buffoon.

Which applies to every losing QB in every game. Since we haven't had an undefeated team since 1972, all teams must replace their QBs.

Yeah, great logic there, Spock

He's 30 and has no more experience experience playing QB in the NFL than a second year backup. That is reason enough right there imo. I love the guy fwiw.

Everyone should read this write up on TH's future in NOLA.

LINK

quote:

If you love Hill in his current role and doubt his ability to be a good NFL starting quarterback, bring him back, give him a new contract and keep him as your Swiss Army Knife while doing everything you can do to convince Bridgewater to return. If you believe in Hill’s ability as a quarterback, that is a different story.

As I have stated previously, the New Orleans Saints had the best quarterback room in the NFL this past season. Now, it is time to sort it out, to set the future beyond No. 9. That may start with No. 7.
