By then Peyton will probably need a new challenge but his bounty scandal will hurt him with some owners. If Peyton doesn't fix the defense and the salary caps of Brees and Graham and others make it difficult to put the roster together he may not win enough to come back

Agreed. Not sure why people presume that Payton and Loomis are on the same wavelength when ownership changes. Within the organization, Loomis predates Payton, and he’s the one who’s made quite the home for himself in Benson’s good graces; if anything, I imagine his power and influence increases after Tom Benson passes and that Benson has already set the transition up to facilitate such an arrangement.
Payton will hold on because of his huge contract, relationship to Brees, and his feelings of gratitude to Benson for sticking with him during his darkest time during the bounty fiasco. That feeling of “owing” Benson fades when Benson passes.
Besides, Payton is a Parcells protege. Parcells sure wasn't shy about leaving jobs that weren't to his liking.

sad situation. Everyone connected knows Rita is batshit crazy and has been through about 50 assistants during her 5 year stint.
Word from the drivesource is that her mother actually lives in an RV in the facility parking lot during the season. Look her up on the Saints staff page: Renee benson. And the brother has been seen more and more around the facility. You get the feeling that they're circling like vultures around Mr Benson. The feeling is that there will be a mass exodus when the day comes when Rita takes over

I think when Brees retires is when Payton will leave, not when Benson dies
