I have been saying this, JG might not be a Saint next season simply because we can't afford him and Brees.

restructuring usually gives the player the same money upfront. If he wanted to ease the cap, we could sign him to a 10 year deal right now that would spread it out past his retirement with an opt-out clause. It would guarantee Brees doesn't take a pay decrease for the rest of his career while spreading out his money. Basically that is what brady did

so Graham has played 4 years for $2.4mil and he is gonna hold out over a $6mil+ franchise tag? $10.5mil+ if he gets WR designation.
