Or you end up with a roster-full of Patrick Robinson and Scott Shanle clones.

It honestly goes to the arrogance of the coaches. They think they are miracle workers and it is pretty bad.

Hell, our 3rd CB is a safety in college, was graded as a safety and doesn't have the skill set or talent to be a legit corner, yet we stuck with him as our #3.

This is the problem with the Saints. Tons of project guys with very few working out.

The exception is Graham.

as bad as p-rob's play was yesterday and awful it was, he should be catching even more shite for the boneheaded fricking play giving the browns new life after cundiff's missed FG.

White played CB at Samford, but was projected to be a Safety in the NFL.

I have a feeling SJB will be active in week 3

It is absolutely not safe to say that. Because with Robinson playing so poorly, SJB will be activated on necessity.

I say give SJB a shot, even if he's a quote on quote project our CB number two spot can't be any worse. How else is he gunna learn without playing at all?

After what Tannehill did to New England, and what NE did to Cassel...I will bet whatever that Minnesota will not score more than 20 points against us at home (If peterson gets deactivated again..LOL)

Here is a couple of pre-draft threads where I echoed your want for CB:

It was one of the deepest drafts for receivers I've ever seen, and they had some great cornerbacks in the first round...I don't dislike Cooks, but I stand by the opinion I made before the draft. Cornerback.

I just wish they had proved me wrong.

It was deep at CB and WR.

Every CB except Dennard in the 1st round is starting for their respective teams or playing significant snaps (correct me if I'm wrong).

But that's just it, we didn't get a corner in the first round. I don't disagree that there was a number of them, but there was a steep drop in talent by the time you got to our second round pick. There were still receivers there though.

No player after Cooks is "like cooks" though.

Look at the two players people wanted to replace Sproles:

Archer: 1 rush 4 yards, 2 kickoff returns for 29 yards
Thomas: DNP

Checked to make sure I didn't say anything stupid.

I was on the Cooks train long before the draft. Just felt like the perfect fit for this offense, and can't say that he doesn't look the part so far. I have no problem with them trading up to get someone that'll likely be a key contributor on this team for a long time. I did want a CB as well though. I hope SJB can work out. I guess we figured that with Byrd, Vaccaro, Lewis and Bush someone serviceable would do. I still believe that to be true, but Rob has to get back to what worked last year. Have Bush out there much more, along with White, Lewis, Byrd and KV. P-Rob, sit your candy arse down, jabroni.

I think he is a project who was overdrafted. The biggest concern is not his physical skills, but moreso his instincts. His ball skills are not good. That is concerning.

This description could also apply to Patrick Robinson lol...

I just don't understand for the life of me why Sean Mickey and Rob thought we could get away with one good corner in Lewis 2 average underachieving young corners in White/PRob a straight special teams guy and rookie who is a huge project.
