I too am hoping for J. Hill from LSU, but I doubt he'll be there after our 2nd pick. Tre Mason is my second choice at RB. However we need to solidify the O-line. It was hot garbage last year. Keep #9 healthy as long as possible.

The last thing we need is another 215+ pounder that runs primarily between the tackles. I REALLY like hill but I would much rather spend that late 2nd or 3rd rounder on a center that will play every down for the rest of Drew's career.

Center
Tackle(if we don't like current guys)
Big bodied pass catcher
Pass catching rb/wr/returner weapon

Are the major overhaul positions I think we need to look at.

Yeah meant to say offensive overhaul positions. Number 2 corner is a must. As far as the speedy wr I definitely agree . That's what I meant with the weapon guy, we need some kind of legitimate run after the catch guy who gets 15 yards instead of 5 whether he is coming out of the backfield or the slot, or both. Stills is very fast as is Morgan. If Morgan's knee is back up to par it will be a good duo to work with down the field.

my bonetugger impersonation:

I do think we'll see Robinson & Ingram take over to a whole new level.

Their combined carries in the last regular season game and two playoff games-

64 attempts 318 yards 4.97 ypc

run that to an every game standard in 2014-

21 carries 106 yards

that x 16= 336 carries & 1696 yards

Parcells allegedly told Payton about Robinson that "you have Curtis Martin there and you're not even using him."

PT23 may stay or go but I believe the weight of the rushing attack will be put squarely on their shoulders. A not so wild prediction is that we might see the first Saint RB to get 200 carries since Deuce in '06.

Who knows for a Sproles/Bush-type role player? That might be-
La'Rod Stephens-Howling
Ronnie Brown
Leon Washington

and more likely from the draft, someone like-
DeAnthony Thomas
Josh Huff
Dri Archer
Devonta Freeman

They might get a jitterbug type WR to fill that role as well, like-
McCluster

or possible draftees like-
Brandin Cooks
Bruce Ellington
Robert Herron
Jaen Saunders

Wow, first I heard that. High praise coming from a guy that's been around a while.

Inaccurate. The post would have to start out with "Like I said (insert fabricated date from the past)" or "It's amazing how much I and (insert known sports analyst/personality) think alike".

Robinson has some potential for sure. I think we'll be fine at rb. May be cadet's chance to show what he can do....unless we draft Dri Archer

If anyone remembers the Eagles playoff game, Collinsworth quoted Payton in reference to Khiry and said,

"The only thing keeping this kid from being a super star in this league is me, I just don't give him enough chances"

Ingram one year left, Robinson running hard. Like others said, improve the O-line, all else will fall into place. Kind of has an eerily familiar feeling to the Ricky/Deuce situation coaching staff and draft position aside.

oh and get a corner in FA of course...

I wouldn't assume that. Robinson could very easily end up being the guy.

This. Robinson and Ingram will share carries, and they'll both be effective. I'm not saying they both eclipse 1000 or anything like that, but if we really put forth the effort with the running game, I think they could be one of the better RB duos in the league.
