So after one game how does the board feel about Michael Thomas as the number 1 receiver?

I think he's gonna grow into the role and be solid, just curious what the board feels after game 1?

We have many holes on this team

WR1 isn't one of them

He was wide open in the end zone on that poor excuse for a throw to Ginn.

I think Thomas will get everyone's best CB, that Ginn and Lewis are not great pass catchers and we need Sneed back in the lineup. Coleman is the same ol' Coleman and Fleener played well.

I mean I wouldn't exactly call WR1 a strength when you look at the other WR1's in the division but it's not a weakness either

Are you stupid I'm saying the saints don't have quite as good of a wr1 as Julio, Evans, and Benjamin. Although I do think mike Thomas will end up better than Benjamin he won't come close to the other two.

I'm not the least bit concerned about the WR's.

I'm beginning to be more and more terrified by two things: I'm growing more and more disgusted by Sean Payton's game management and playcalling and that we've seen the prime of Drew Brees wasted.

Mike Thomas is going to do just fine in his role this year. It's the other receiver that concern me. Losing Snead hurt more than most of us probably thought it would. He's not an all pro game changer by any means but he's a reliable target that can get open and move the chains for you. Ginn is Ginn, he's hot and cold, Coleman thus far seems like just a camp/practice warrior, Lewis has some potential but too early to tell.

He is a stud. This game doesn't change that.

Once Strief went down Drew did not have time to check down that far. He certainly had no confidence in his time in the pocket.

I don't believe he is a #1 receiver.......ted ginn is a slot receiver..........but the saints feel they can just plug and play......will this be the last year for payton and brees.

Would be nice if we called plays for him in the red zone instead of stone hands Ginn.

Lewis

Is not and was not the problem last night nor in the preseason.

Him only getting 11 snaps to Coleman's punk arse' 48 snaps was. Coleman is still soft as charmin and can't separate.

There were bad play calls and personnel decisions on both sides of the ball. Very, very bad.

I felt like once Strief was out the pocket was collapsing so fast that Drew didn't really have any chances to get it to him, so I'm not concerned.
