Saints FO have been downright horrendous with our draft picks the last 3 years.

2015 looks like an excellent draft.

Here's who we could have picked instead of SJB.

26(58) Saints Jean-Baptiste, Stanley CB 6'3" 218 Nebraska 5.3

27(59) Colts Mewhort, Jack OT 6'6" 309 Ohio St. 5.6

28(60) Panthers Ealy, Kony DE 6'4" 273 Missouri 5.8

29(61) Jaguars (From 49ers) Robinson, Allen WR 6'2" 220 Penn St. 5.6

30(62) Patriots Garoppolo, Jimmy QB 6'2" 226 Eastern Illinois 5.8

31(63) Dolphins (From Broncos through 49ers) Landry, Jarvis WR 5'11" 205 LSU 5.6

What a reach using a 2nd round pic. Follow that up without giving a FA sniff for a 1st round talent Collins.

Well this ever end? Wasn't it already known he didn't want to stay in the state of Louisiana?

I believe a lot of us were but we got called LSU homers. How do you pick a "project" cb in the 2nd round then not give him more than a year to develop? Lord help Chicago. They hired that frick for a gm.

I actually wanted C Marcus Martin who went to SF early in round 3. We had a gaping hole at C last year before the Unger trade.

But Jarvis Landry or Allen Robinson would have been fine with me.

Yes because this board wouldn't have gone apeshit if we took Cooks in the 1st & Landry in the 2nd.

You mean two receivers?

Yes, we clearly needed defense.

But people wanted Landry.

Would much rather look stupid about bitching in hindsight over a good pick than completely waste one.

On a more serious note, early TC and in the first game he looked good...then all hell broke loose.

At least Swann looks promising. If all of the 2015 draft contributes, it will mitigate last year's shite

Not really. His shitty attempt at a tackle gave up a 4th and 20 to keep the game alive.
