We need a DE and DT in 1st 3 rounds, then we need a WR, CB, LB, and 2 Guards.

If he gets healthy and fully recovered, Fuller is a top 10 pick who could fall to the second.

I doubt he makes it that far. He's really REALLY good.

On A'Shawn Robinson: "the only knock on Robinson is that he is limited as an interior pass rusher"

I thought that was his strength?

I'm higher on Buckner than A'Shawn

As is everyone I think so I don't see us getting Buckner. I do see A'Shawn being right there for us but I'm not #12 pick high on him.

He'll be gone by our 2nd pick guaranteed.

I agree that we need a WR but when your defense is putting up historically bad stats in consecutive seasons, how do you justify fixing that problem not being priority #1?

I said we should go D in 1, but I wouldn't be upset with a WR like Doctson in the 2nd. I would be happy to see 2 stud DL as well.

I'd rather us draft nothing but defense but the one position I don't want us wasting a 1-3rd round pick on is CB. We never hit on any of them.

we picked two cornerbacks out of nine picks last year and that was after we'd signed Browner and it looked like Lewis/Browner would be the starters.

Browner looks to be out and Breaux now teams with Lewis who has been through a few surgeries lately.

Swann looked like he might be something when he played but he's already a few concussions.

trust me.. I get it.. we usually don't have all that great of luck picking corners in the draft but we might have to. There is no way to predict how the draft will shake out or how free agency will set the tone before hand.

Outside of cooks and sneah yeah

Snead is a poor man's Lance Moore and Cooks is afraid of contact at times.

Here's the question, 16 seconds left in the game, we're down by 6 points and we are on our own 13 yard line. Are you confident in any of our receivers to go get the ball for a touchdown? I'm almost more confident in Treadwell right now than anyone we have on the team currently.

I have the utmost confidence in Drew and that's really all that matters

I wish I could thumps you up and down

First off Snead is definitely better, or for better words has a more complete skill set than Lance Moore and he is physical. He will have a better career with us if he can stay healthy.

Yet I do not believe in any receiver on our roster to step up when we desperately need it . Treadwell is that guy, Snead can be taken out and of course Cooks will be the non factor that he is when we play these physical defenses.

If Jack isn't there and Treadwell falls you pull the trigger.

He and Cooks in a bunch with Cooks avoiding the jam behind him would be nice.

Until they address the front 7, they need to stay away from drafting a corner. We generate absolutely zero pass rush so we could have a backfield of Sherman and Peterson and still they'd get picked apart because the QB stands clean in the pocket for 5-7 seconds.

Football is won and lost at the line, and I am hoping our first three picks are spent on a DT, DE, and G.

Is it just me or am I sensing the most agreement ever on team needs this year?

DL, LB, & G BPAs bigtime

well, TE and WR shouldn't be left out of discussion mid rounds per say.... I'm not against a CB if its BPA anywhere in the draft. DL is like 2 positions of need and another OLB isn't a horrible ideer.

yeah, talking priority and what we would like to see in Rds 1-3. I started a draft a TE thread but with no thought of that pick being earlier than 3rd Rd.

When ya have not just a bad D, but a historically bad D, you cannot infuse enough better talent IMO

I can agree those are maybe the consensus priority at the moment but usually that changes a bit with FA. As of now, we do need Guards and Edge rushing bad.

I can't see being able to afford DT and DE's that can pressure the QB. Those are so damn high on the market.

But a quality vet guard and TE would seem to be a bigger possibility in FA's.
