3. San Diego: DeForest Buckner, DE, Oregon
4. Dallas: Myles Jack, OLB, Cowboys
10. N.Y. Giants: Noah Spence, DE, Eastern Kentucky
11. Chicago: Reggie Ragland, ILB, Alabama
12. New Orleans: A’Shawn Robinson, DT, Alabama
The Saints need to shore up a pass defense that finished dead last in DVOA, but they’ve also long lacked a presence in their middle of their defensive line. Robinson is a 6-foot-4, 312-pound beast with NFL power and the ability to create havoc against the run.

Other notables:
14. Oakland: Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Ohio State
15. Los Angeles: Laquon Treadwell, WR, Ole Miss
17. Atlanta: Kevin Dodd, DE, Clemson
20. N.Y. Jets: Darron Lee, OLB, Ohio State
24. Cincinnati: Jaylon Smith, OLB, Notre Dame
26. Seattle: Sheldon Rankins, DT, Louisville
27. Green Bay: Shaq Lawson, DE, Clemson
29. Arizona: Emmanuel Ogbah, DE, Oklahoma State
30. Carolina: Kendall Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech

I sure hope the Saints trade back if Robinson is their pick but they have never done that with Sean and Co.

Not sure why everyone is so bullish on Robinson. I'd do cartwheels if that was the pick.

I don't hate him but I just like Rankins/Lawson better

I'm not against the pick, I just don't think he's a #12 pick.

The 3 common themes I have seen why people don't like her are:

1) Bama

2) Product of system (see #1)

3) Reed was the better DT and made his job easier

I think he has a high floor with a low ceiling on top of that. I think he'll be a legit player for a long time, just not a Pro Bowler. I could be wrong though.

All in all, I'd be ok with the pick.

If he let's Anthony have to chose between two gaps instead of 3, why not?

While I like some of these picks more than others, I'm pretty sure we will pick one of these guys and I'm ok with that. Great picks at positions of need.

Buckner
Tunsil
Jack
Hargreaves
Bosa
Spence
Robinson
Treadwell
Ogbah
Lawson
Rankins

Personally I just think there are at least 5 DTs in this class who are on his level (or better), and 6-8 who are just a step below. We would be better served to trade down or just take a DT in the 2nd.

I still want them to take BPA really but I don't really think it's Robinson here anyways
