Since we will more than likely have a high round pick, would yall rather shoot for one of the guys coming out the draft or shop our first round pick and see if we can get a young proven Pass Rusher or dlineman?

I'm waiting for Blu myself. His metrics are better than Todd's.

Depends on the value

Would love multiple picks. Outside of pass rusher, we can find WR and Gs later in the draft

Which is why it blows my mind that G and C were ignored for so long

Me too. The last draft is the hope I'm holding onto for this franchise

I know this is not the same thing as what you're asking, but I would almost want to say we should trade away our first round pick to someone for MORE picks in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th or later rounds. We need desperate help in so many different areas, we will basically have to bat 100% in this next draft. It is a headache-inducing list of needs we have. Three or four picks is not really gonna be enough to fix everything. Need more.

After this most recent draft, which went well, I'd be inclined to say use the pick.

1. Peat may not have been Ireland's choice.
2. Considering how fast Strief may be declining in physical skills anticipating needs versus reactionary drafting could have kept this franchise ahead of the curve as oppose to where we are now if it had always been in effect.
3. Matthews for ATL was thought to be a bust by their own fans a year ago

from what's been told, mickey liked dupree, payton liked devonte parker, ireland shows up and has a bright idea to draft this goonie.

I like how we are only five games into the season and play our biggest rivals in two days and yet we are talking about draft picks. And by like I mean I hate it!!!

I don't like it either, but it's where we are.

So after we win Thursday, "is that still where we are?"

Win or lose on Thursday we're not doing anything this season, so yes.

Yes

this is not 2014 where a sub .500 NFC South team could still sneak into the playoffs.

I would try to shop our players for a mid round pick. Keep all the young guys but no way you trade a top pick unless it's to back up 5 or less spots. In that case you get someone's first round pick this year and the next.

The answer to our problems is to draft well. Trading for a player who is already established would only further contribute to our fricked up cap situation. Decent chance we just frick that up too though.

hell no. This is a complete rebuild. We're not just a player or two away. We build through the draft and hope that last years draft wasn't just an aberration but is indicative of a new direction. We try to pile up as many draft picks as we can get through trades and through moving back in the draft.
