Giving thanks to fans and talking up a repeat!

While I'm sure nothing is in place, I certainly like the way he's thinking...

The day after the game, he said he wanted to try for a repeat. I heard it on ch 37 cox sports.

I gave him 80% probability of staying in another thread. Move it up to 85%

Think about it, what 13 years to be on a SB winner? He had to have been unhappy in how he didn't fit in the Minny system. GW a master at getting the most and utilizing most effectively his players- DS a perfect example. Great coach on the field/mentor for who will take his place- Jenkins or whoever.

Good to know he has the same frame of mind now that it's a little further removed.

Probably the best example one could point to.

I sure hope he comes back. I usually hate watching my teams on defense, but Sharper (and Williams, as well) made defense a whole lot more exciting for me.

I want to move back to New Orleans. Does that count? I'm having a decent season this spring after recovering from an injury...

Why would he go anywhere else? He just made his 5th Pro Bowl and set a league record in interception return yardage. Staying with the Saints is the best way to burnish his Hall of Fame credentials -- and also to get a little more finger jewelry.

If he stays a few more years, and does well, would he go in the HoF as a Saint ?

Peter King take:

The Saints may have to make a tough decision on the 34-year-old Sharper. If a leadership-seeking team wants to entice him with an $8-million signing bonus and decent annual salaries in a two-year deal, New Orleans might have to let him go.

I'm not sure, but I can probably still do a 10.7 to 10.8 in the hundred. Might be able to get back into the 10.5 to 10.6 range if I really, really worked at it.
