cause our best is better than their best, as evidenced in the regular season. we were the better team this season.

i'm not overly confident, but can't see us losing if we prepare well and execute a perfect gameplan like we did agains the pats.

Im just asking because they have been playing average at best and I know you can take the Carolina game out of it but come on Washington should have won and Atlanta should have won with a backup QB and RB

Because that be'es what the frick it's going to be. If you can't accept that, then you need to wear red on sunday and sit while you pee.

the point is the last 5 games which means more to the team right now than early season were played average at best and only one of those teams made the playoffs

Two starting corners back and healthy. Starting DT finally healthy. Starting TE back on the field and healthy...

Shockey being healthy is the most important IMO bc of our poor play at LT. Shockey is a tremendous blocker and will really help in pass protection.

THIS, x30

Houma, you might want to consider that a QB with absolutely no playoff experience hung up over 300 EASY on this defense. GFY.

In the 4 games before the postseason, the Cardinals were 2-2 including blowout losses to the 49ers and the Packers. Their wins were by 7 against Detroit and a blowout against the Rams; don't tell me that's impressive.

This is the playoffs, it's not about previous weeks. It's about execution. With the additional players coming back from injury (none of whom were present during the final 5 games when we struggled) as well as the additional preparation time, it's hard not to be confident as a Saints fan. In no way shape or form is that to be misconstrued as cockiness. Any team can beat any team at this point but I have confidence the Saints will win.
