Let's hope Brees doesn't choke again in the postseason.
Like against the 49ers when we took the lead twice in the past 5 minutes?
Or against the Vikings where he played perfect in the 2nd half, taking the lead with under a minute, only to have Williams blow it after Kamara didn’t convert a 3rd and short
Or against the Rams again taking the lead under 2 minutes only to have the refs and D give up the lead again?
Our even this past year, leading us down the field to tie it up only to have Kamara blow the chance of a TD
Our offense, like every offense, has always struggled with interior pressure, even in Drew’s prime, and we sure had a lot of it the past 2 playoff “losses”. Peat cost us the past 2 seasons (and we still made the plays against the Rams to make the Super Bowl). The Vikings upped it by generating incredible interior pressure but also edge pressure on Ram without the need to blitz
We had a good chance when Peat went down this year against the Vikings and Easton came in. Unfortunately we put Peat back in the next series after scoring a TD on the drive he was out with actual room to create a pocket
Anyone who truly blames the QB for our offensive woes against the Vikings just does not know football. That game was blown up front and we still should have pulled it out if it wasn’t for some uncharacteristic mistakes by several stars on the team.

I agree . They seem to forget how fortunate we are to have one of if not the greatest qb of all time . Or how bad it was at that position before he got here .

Or how about getting fricking cute with QB Taysome Hill inside the 10 yard line...
You have a hall of fame QB in Brees that is off the field for cute plays...inside the 10 yard line and kicking FG's because the cute shite did not work... We lost last year to the Rams because of that shite,2 FG's instead of TD's 4 of 6 plays T Hill is the QB. plus they did not call the PI...

There was definitely several players that share the blame for that loss against the Vikings. However, Brees ultimately blew that game above all. It happens but there is no denying it. The second quarter horrendous decision and throw for the pick then the fumble at the end of the game. Have to protect the football and that is probably the only game I can say that Drew actually cost us one. Our only offense was Taysum Hill. However it is is time to move on to next season. Still happy to have Brees for another year
