Right about what? I never said they would use all of their timeouts. Did I put an S there, yes, but when I put out the scenario, there was only one opportunity to use their timeout.

Find your own fricking thread then. I find it funny that you have a name like hendersonshands and you defend the throw to him on third down.

Thanks for actually discussing something of substance. Without the last timeout, thaey would have had to rush out the fg unit which makes a big difference. With the timeout they could take their time and set up the play before to end at the middle of the field.

that's a lot of conjecture. if they have one timeout im sure they treat that offensive series differently.

the motherfricker ran the wrong route a-hole. how would running the ball on third down do any better? who else did you want us to throw to? reggie bush, i'm sure the entire defense wasn't focused on him.

EXACTLY. They have to run different routes. They can't throw the ball in the middle of the field like they did for the penalty. You make it hard on the opposition, not easy. Payton can't grasp that fact.

Do you think Bellicek (sp?) throws the ball?

y are yall arguing about TOs??? The refs fricked the game up in the 1st half: ADPs fumble and no call on facemask/fumble play. Hochuli sux. Saints made many mistakes and still had a chance to win. Payton doesn't fumble or kick it low/wide. Payton actually called a pretty good game tonight, but Devery ran the wrong route on the last drive of the game, Grammatica misses(needs to be flipping burgers or rolling burritos in south america) and Jason David comes in for Porter and cant keep up with Berrian forcing an OPI on the safety. JUST LIFE AS USUAL FOR A SAINTS FAN... BAD BREAKS!!!

I think I would rather throw it to the player with the most receptions in the first two years of his career in NFL history than the player that consistently drops balls . . . and evidently runs bad routes.

But Payton calls for an onside kick when the Saints were playing with the Vikings on offense and had them completely stifled on defense.

How do you know that wasn't a play Drew audibled to? There are way too many things to take into consideration for you to just be calling for him to be fired.

Do you really think I have any power whatsoever to get him fired? Then what is your problem?

Admit that he messed up. You have to admit to that at least.

the onside kick was not a bad call. It just didn't work out. It didn't put the game out of hand. It was in the first half and resulted in 3 points. I know 3 points was the difference, but the onside kick made no difference. The fumbles while driving and HORRIBLE FG kicking was the difference. without the TOs the saints blow out the vikes

I don't think he messed up. I agree with throwing the ball. We didn't trust our kicker enough, rightfully so, to just try to run time down.
