This is what puzzles me with the Nnamdi situation. Pass rusher and LT are the biggest needs right now. I would assume that we take a pass rusher in the first round if lane isn't there and sign someone in FA at LT. Taking on a Nnamdi deal just doesn't seem to fit in with what Payton says are the biggest needs for the team.

But you also have to acquire the right talent for the right price. You shouldn't acquire the wrong talent for the wrong price just purely out of need. Then you end up with jason david on your roster. If you have an opportunity to upgrade any position, you have to consider it strongly.
