Releasing nuggets like this should help in compensation negotiations

We desperately need him to go coach again and get some draft picks.

Right when you think it can’t get any worse for DA.

The price keeps getting higher. How much draft capital would you give up for a miracle worker?

More proof that the players aren't responding to DA.

Roger Goodell and Rich McKay have to retire or have their private plane get struck by incoming space debris for that to occur.

The NFL and Goodell created a narrative that NFL players were paying to injure themselves to mitigate the concussion lawsuits.

The Saints and Payton became the face of the NFL lie about player paid intentional injuries.

For settlement and NFL injury purposes, the NFL cannot admit openly the fabrication.

Payton and the Saints need to forever be both linked and maligned.

What an embarrassing thing to admit. This is like Orgeron at LSU all over again

Funny we pitched a shut out "because of his pregame speech" when he was coach HIS defensive genius is why we failed quite often lol

I’m calling it (yearning for it) now, Sean is back leading the Saints next year.

Why he proved he didn't give a shite about our team family r the way he quit "needing time off" and gushing over jobs he would like to have in week 1

So we can ride a worn out quarterback until the end of the season when his arm gives out?

To have a bottom of the league defense every year and consistently change coordinators?

Think about this, the primary reason we have Dennis Allen as coach is because Payton looks out for his buddies

I wanted to start a thread about why did the Saints play lights out against the Raiders? Now I see why..

This is a horrendous take and shows you either are an idiot or haven’t watched the saints during his tenure at the end. Not wanting a HOF coach to come back is beyond dumb.

Why is it a "horrendous" take?
At the end all that matters is the Superbowl.

Going by your standards, we should have signed Trent dilfer to a lifetime contract, he won as many Superbowls as Payton right?

Payton won a shitload of games, winning seasons. I remember watching all the mora years and beyond. But besides 1 Superbowl and making the nfc championship game his first season and getting beat by 22 points to fricking rex Grossman, how much did Payton do to be the greatest coach ever? Have a consistently underachieving defense, trade away draft picks to keep IR filled with people like Davenport?

He had arguably one of the greatest quarterbacks to play and look at his resume

Sean is taking a job that’ll get him another SB to put on the resume, that’s not here

They played lights out against the Raiders because they had 0 turnovers, only 27 yds in penalties and they put the ball in Taysom and Kamara's hands more than the Ravens and Steelers games combined. No magic formula, no magic pep talk. They played smart football by putting their best weapons to work and not shooting themselves in the foot with turnovers and drive killing penalties.
