Would love both picks.

OBJ at 27 would be a steal and Martin at 58 would be a minor reach but fills a big need.

Give me a real/better guard with 2nd/3rd round pick.

Give me a center prospect more in 4th of 5th round.

I like Martin...If we go WR in the first though..I would rather go for Attaochu(OLB),Van Noy(OLB),Jean-Baptiste(CB),Desir(CB)...MAYBE even another WR if one falls like Moncrief.

Basically someone ranked around that area that ALSO fills a need.

There's a lot of nice center prospects IMO..

On paper, maybe. But how many starting/quality Centers come out of each draft, even on a good year? I feel like Richburg and Martin are head and shoulders above everyone else, especially if you're looking for someone to compete right away.

To me, Center is too important/too big of a hole to wait until the 4th or 5th round. I hope we address it by the end of the 3rd.

I know the Saints have the luxury of BPA, but I'm hoping they go CB, WR, C (Martin) with the first three picks. Everything after that is just lagniappe.

Couldn't agree more. Although, I can see one of those positions being left out due to grades not matching where we pick. The good thing is, we're set up well enough that the only position I feel that we NEED to come away with is Center (and maybe WR), and besides FB and P, there are really no positions that would be a bad pick at any spot (besides K in the first 5 rounds).

That's why I would LOVE Archer or Thomas later in the draft.

I concur, but I would go WR, CB, C unless Watkins, Evans, Cooks, OBJ and Lee are all gone in the first before we pick. If they are all gone then draft a CB in the first and pick up a WR in the 2nd.

I have a feeling with the publicity Beckhams been getting he won't make it to us.

But, one of he, Lee, or Cooks will get to us. I just know it.

Those two picks would be so fapworthy

And I don't think Martin is lasting until our 3rd rounder. If he's the guy we want, it will have to be with our 2nd. I get you can pick up a C in the mid rounds, but we really need a guy who can come in and start right away. Not just a developmental guy.

If you go WR in the 1st, who does that leave at CB in the 2nd?

I'm still not above taking Matthews in the 1st if better options are out(not just at WR).

Spinoff question, saying most better options are gone would people rather Matthews or Shazier in the first?

Keith McGill, Phillip Gaines or Marcus Robertson. One of those guys would be there at 58.

I'd like to get a C that is a more dominating run blocker that will help Brees extend his career and allow our run game to flourish.

Which do you see as the bigger talent gap?

CB 27, CB 58

WR 27, WR 58
