We gave a 6 year contract to a QB coming off a torn labrum in his throwing shoulder that failed his physical with another team... if there was ever a time to throw away the medical sheets, this is that time

different situations.

difference here is we can hand pick who we want. Plus we are established as a team with much more to lose.

Microfracture surgery isn't anything to play with. If our medical staff doesn't trust his knee obviously we pass on him.

i dont care about any year. i care about being prone to career threatening injury

how would one defend that if it were to happen when you have the information and warnings already at your disposal?

You defend it by believing the reward outweighs the risk.
