But we make it to 8 wins. DBs really improve as year goes on.

Mike thomas future star.

Wish Rankins and Kikaha were healthy.

First time having season tickets.

If this team played in the SEC West they would be lucky to have a .500 record. Sad times

We'll just keep hoping, and wishing, & praying that we win more games than we lose, but at the end of the day, we're fricked with an outdated QB taking too much money & being coached by a crossfit freak with a pill addiction.

Here is my problem with posters like you. A quick 1 minute peek at your post history shows you giving people who aren't sold on LSU tons of shite. How does that make any sense?

I could easily say "We'll just keep hoping, wishing & praying that LSU learns how to coach a QB and stop putting out an embarrassing offensive performance year after year, but at the end of the day, we're fricked with 0 QB development & being coached by an idiot who is still playing 1920s offense and riding the wave of recruits that was formed by his predecessor, the greatest college coach of all time who left only to defeat us every year for the rest of his tenure" .... BUT I DON'T, because that isn't how you support your team.

So either support the team of frick off from this board. Scum.

Just because a schedule looks tough..... don't mean it is.

You shouldn't judge the season based off of whooping up a peewee league team.

Congrats on season tickets, that would be so cool. I go to one a year and try to see a team I never did before. I've seen Falcons and Bucs the most. i found an affordable on the lower level near the corner for the Lions game who I've never seen them play so can't wait.

Some of the LSU fanboys are talking major shite on the saints and puffing their chest out for LSU

Odds are we'll all be disappointed.

a lot of youth at the position. I'll bet teams will just take what we give them all year just like Big Ben did the other night.

That isn't a criticism either.. even the best defenses get shred from time-to-time. In today's NFL its just as possible as ever.

So I mean.. you know there will still be a lot of growing pains involved. We'll just have to hope that the Saints are more effective at blitzing. Good thing is we'll have stuff no teams have seen from us before with a new DC in charge. Lets hope Dennis Allen can dial up good pressures and then more importantly... hopefully the players fricking execute the way they should.

pass rush can only get better, and yeah, getting Rankins back is going to be huge.

need Ellerbe to stay healthy and I hope Robertson can make a difference in coverage down field. Its one thing for LB's to tackle or cover backs in the flat but we haven't had much hope in coverage further down field from the linebackers at all hardly. Its easier said than done but the way the league is now you need that.

most of the time people just bash the secondary on here and then every once in awhile are like, "Yeah but our pass rush sucks too or our LB's can't run."

so unless they really deserve it I'm gonna hold back my comments on the corner backs this year.

I think 8-8 or 9-7 can happen. And that wouldn't be a bad thing either. You might say well that's a shitty attitude but look.. I don't want to sit through a real shitty year and finish 6-10 or worse. Nah bro.. having a higher draft pick isn't that big of a deal to me. It use to be though, but just not any more.

seen too many 1st round busts on this team and from other teams around the league to feel differently. True, the mid rounds is where the real finds are but I don't know if the order/ pick number makes that big of a difference. I'm sure I'll get roasted for that which should be pretty cool.

I think the Saints will go 9-7.

The reason I say that is, while this is pretty much the same team as last year, I think we get off to a good start this year. 3-1 is obtainable. I think we drop a game in the Meadowlands, we beat Oakland and Atlanta at home, Drew wins his Homecoming game in San Diego.
