Who would be your 1 or 2 targets in mind?

Strangely they've met with some top tier corners.

Tyree Wilson could make sense.

Jalen Carter's possible availability and obvious team need.

The old me would have melted over this.

now I will just bottle it all up inside forever, the super healthy way

To answer the question, I have no idea. I don't even know who is projected to go in the first 20ish picks of this draft

Saints will trade in this draft like other drafts. I hope they stay and take 2 DTs.

Is there actually substance to this? Or strictly hypothetical?

Hypothetical but saints have met w some top tiered prospects. My theory is if Vegas miss out on top 4 qbs and want to drop down and target say a Hendon Hooker and collect capital

saints always visit with players they zero intention to draft even if they get the oportunity to. its just a smoke screen to disguise who they really want to draft

That with the added benefit of having in-house profiles on these players should they come available in FA or trade in the future.

I get all that. Just thought it would be a cool topic to discuss everyone's top 3 non qb prospects of what Saints could be after if we made such a move.

Just waiting for this Coach to get canned. Trade the entire draft and do it Allen. Lol

Do not want Carter.

He's a great talent but his lack of preparation for his pro day after not working at the combine is a giant red flag.

I see Johathan Sullivan written all over him.

I would think Edge or maybe even one of the top WRs that high.

But more importantly what would it cost to move up.

I agree on Carter - all the talent but what he showed, or lack thereof, at the combine was a red flag.

i could see receiver - but if we do, for the love of god get someone that can get fricking separation - the routes last year were horrible and no separation/physicality at the point of catch was glaring.

Sure. Let’s package our 1st round pick and Carr.

Absolutely is.

That and he has a penchant recklessness. He's not mature enough at this time.

You don’t trade up that far for a non-QB.
Will this FO ever learn? I’m still losing my mind over Payton Turner
