I know this team has many needs to be addressed in the draft, but I believe WR is still a big one. Stills is coming along and Cooks will be a great player for us, but other than that we are thin at WR. How do y'all like Sammie Coates in the 2nd? I think he can have an immediate impact

i don't...

not to say i wouldn't like him (i've already said he'd look great in black and gold before), but too many other needs to draft WR in the 2nd this year....

After the combine he'll probably go late first, or too early to even grab in the second. Colston isnt leaving just yet either. Who we really need is Reese Dismukes.

Yeah Millen said earlier he may run a 4.3 at the combine. Wow! Didn't realize he had that kind of speed. If that's the case, no way he makes it to our spot in the 2nd.

Larry Fitzgerald. Doesn't expect to be back with the cards next year.

The interior of both lines must be fixed before we get yet another WR. LB and CB also come before a WR.

He doesn't do much except run go routes. Most of the successful rookies this season were much more polished than he seems to be.

The perfect Saints team would field 11 safeties on defense and 10 receivers and D Brees on offense if this board is correct!

Sammie will be great value to some team.

What we need is a vet WR who has no learning curve. If Stills Cooks and Jimmy can't be used as weapons thats on CSP.
We need veteran leadership and to add to the depth of the wideouts.

Would be a great addition but for some reason I see him playing for the Patriots.

Coates is basically Cordarrelle Patterson. Physical freak, raw receiver. Guys like that are always a gamble. If it clicks for him and he works at the nuances of the postion then he could be a beast. If not, he could just be Cordarrelle Patterson. Not a bad floor by any means, but the Vikings probably don't make that pick if they could do it again. Coates is a project at a position where there isn't a need. Saints need to draft guys that can step in and make the team better next year.
