It would be the same broadcast in both cities, no? I can check my guide when I get home to see what it's saying in Bossier

The Saints site says it'll be playing on 33 (posted above) in Shreveport, but my guide says it's a rerun of some Auburn game, so hopefully the site is right. I don't want to have to drive to Bossier to watch this if I can watch it at home.

It says KMSS 33, which is fox. Channel 8 with Comcast.

That has to be incorrect. WVUE (Cable channel 9)is simulcasting the CST broadcast in New Orleans. WUPL is the sister station of WWL.

since I switched over to DirectTV from Cox in May, CST is the only thing I miss about Cox Cable. I do hate that I won't be able to watch the Saints pre-season games live at home - oh well

just a copy of the whole list to maybe circumvent another half dozen threads today-

CST is the Saints preseason television provider, with all games being produced in High Definition and available throughout the entire CST Network. The games will be simulcast in New Orleans on WUPL-TV (UPN 54). CST will originate a special 30-minute pre-game show prior to each game from the CST studios in New Orleans. CST Tonight! anchors Victor Howell and Paul Crane will host the pre-game show. Tim Brando will handle the play-by-play of the telecast while Solomon Wilcots handles the game analysis.

Below is a list of cable systems and television stations carrying the games in the Gulf South Region:

Market -- Station/Cable
New Orleans -- CST/WUPL-TV 54
Shreveport -- KMSS-TV 33
Monroe -- KAQY-TV 11
Biloxi/Gulfport/Pascagoula -- Cable One/Channel 22
Jackson -- WUFX-TV 35
Pensacola/Ft. Walton Beach -- Cox Cable/Channel 319
*Mobile -- Cox Cable to finalize with Mobile Comcast

The games will also be broadcast in High Definition in following cable markets:

Market -- Cable System/Channel Number
New Orleans -- Cox/752
Baton Rouge --Cox /781
Lafayette -- Cox/738
Pensacola/Ft. Walton Beach -- Cox/700
Houma -- Comcast/206
LaPlace -- Comcast/206
Slidell/Northshore -- Charter/770
Hammond -- Charter/770
Thibodaux -- Charter/770
Opelousas -- Charter/770

Yeah, its on FOX 8 in New Orleans, not WUPL 54.

Not sure if the other stations on the list provided by the Saints is wrong too. I guess the best thing would be to check your local listings via TV guide or Direct TV if you don't get Cox Sports Television.

Saints have released the regional local channels that will be picking up Cox Sports Television's feed:
Shreveport -- KMSS-TV 33

Sorry dear Cammie and blueslover, but this information is incorrect! I just got off the phone with Chris Jackson's office at CST (504)304-8141, and also Comcast programming and they told me that the Saint's website is posting incorrect and/or old information perhaps from last season...

In Shreveport, the Saints Preseason games will be carried by Comcast Cable on The Shreveport City-Wide TV Channel - XCVS Channel 6, the same station as last year!
