At what point is it time to worry about Lattimore?

Well, you're a fan posting on a message board, so any time is fine, I'm sure.

Best trash talk of Saints camp: WR coach Curtis Johnson vs. DB coach Aaron Glenn during 1-on-1 drills.

Don't see Corey Fuller out here now.

Ted Ginn beats De'Vante Harris off the line of scrimmage during one-on-ones. "It's too easy! Ginn yells out.

One on ones, Ken Crawley on Michael Thomas.

Ken Crawley with a win against Mike Thomas here.

A lot of chirping going on between the saints corners and receivers

quote:

Max Unger and Terron Armstead in shorts and jerseys. Delvin Breaux in full pads for now. No sign of Hendrickson Lattimore and Fleener.

Will Lutz goes 7 of 9 in FG's in practice longest kick made 55 yards

As long as Breaux, Williams and Moore are 100%, I am not worried about Lattimore. I want him getting reps but not at the expense of his future health.

The level of contentiousness between O and D in this year's camp is higher than I can ever remember. Lots of scuffles.

The WR Coach and DB Coach are trashtalking. DB Coach encouraging guys to spike the ball every time they get a PBU. WRs taking offense to that.

Really fun.

So glad Curtis Johnson is back on staff!

Also, 7 for 9 on FGs in practice is not that reassuring.

Breaux & Williams are both one play from never playing again. Neither can be trusted with their health

I think that having new blood coaching DL and LBs is having an impact on that too. I saw an article about how our new DL coach is intense and getting extra reps in for the guys that aren't participating on Special Teams.

You can say that about any single player in the league.

Just got out of a meeting. Here's all the updates I missed:

quote:

Kenny Vaccaro with a nice PBU on Alvin Kamara during 7-on-7. "Get up an spike that (expletive)," a fired up Aaron Glenn yells out.

quote:

Aaron Glenn is fired up out here.

quote:

Every time the DB wins the rep in 7 on 7 & force an incomplete pass the DB spikes the ball just a competitive reminder they won the rep

quote:

Aaron Glenn telling DBs to spike ball after a win. Brandon Coleman just took the ball away from two DBs before they could spike it.

quote:

Chase Daniel getting a chance to run the 1st team offense in team drills

quote:

Kikaha with a TFL in team drills. Slow jump off ball, but good read to get Kamara cutting back.

quote:

Marcus Williams with a jarring hit on TE Clay Harbor during 11-on-11. Harbor slow to feet, had to shake off that one.

quote:

Saints are giving Drew Brees and Cam Jordan rest today. Haven't seen Brees throw a pass in team drills or 7-on-7s.

quote:

Alex Okafor in for Jordan. Hau'oli Kikaha at RDE during 11-on-11.

quote:

Safety Chris Banjo crossed the field to snag an interception on a deep throw by Saints QB Ryan Nassib, who has struggled so far in camp.

quote:

Mitchell Loewen with a "sack" of Nassib, then chases him into an interception by Chris Banjo

quote:

Mike Thomas w/ great concentration during 11-on-11. De'Vante Harris tipped pass from Chase Daniel, Thomas stayed in control to snatch ball.

quote:

Rollout touchdown from Chase Daniel to Adrian Peterson

quote:

Play of the day at Saints practice by WR Michael Thomas in full-team red-zone drills. CB De'Vante Harris made a great play himself by stepping in front of Thomas on a crossing route to reject a pass from Chase Daniel. But Thomas caught the deflected ball out of the air and took it in for a touchdown. We've now seen multiple types of TDs from Thomas in the red zone over the past two days -- including the more obvious fades and quick slants that will be hard to stop against the 6-foot-3, 212-pounder.

quote:

Sean Payton confirmed that Drew Brees' day off from throwing was a scheduled day of rest and said there will probably be another one at some point.

He obviously read BMS's thread and was concerned about the lack of velocity
