Anyone who thinks Ingram is an issue with this team has purple and gold blinders on. He's a very good running back at a very good price

Man get out of here with that "purple glasses and gold glasses mess" if they were at opposite schools I'd say the same thing. He's part of the issue, he sucks at making thing happen on his own. Pierre Thomas was far better at finding the right running lanes to squeeze through. I know that Ingram played okay last season, but the special ones make things happen on their own sometimes. I'm not saying he has to be Barry Sanders every play, but he leaves a lot to be desired. He's average at best, so if there is a "special" RB available, take a flyer on him.

I like Ingram, but there is nothing "great" about his game as of now.

Trade Brees to free up cap money and hope to go 0-16 to draft Fournette. But no way these guys salvage this season.

Jerry Jones will send in his, "Get Them In Trouble Squad", to Baton Rouge. LF will fall in the draft or go undrafted like Dak Prescott and La'el Collins. Dallas scoops up LF and this board melts.

He averaged 4.6 ypc behind the worst offensive line we've had in a while.

It is when the entire league has a very good idea, what plays you are running.

And yet they still haven't been able to stop our offense? Top 5 year after year. We've finished outside the top 5 once in the Brees era, falling all the way to #6. We've led the league in yards 5x

Hell, we put up 38 against a top 2 defense last year.

You're being silly.

What I mean is change the playbook up using different routes or add some new plays that the Saints of the past would never run.

What routes should we add that we don't use?

They graded out pretty well to me

They were better run blockers than pass blockers.

3. New Orleans Saints (11th)
Pass-blocking rank: 9th

Run-blocking rank: 2nd

Penalties rank: 10th

Stud: This was the year that former second-round pick Terron Armstead proved he was a top-tier tackle.

Dud: Nothing overly terrible here, but Senio Kelemete had some issues in pass protection that shouldn’t be ignored.

I could get silly, but I'll go with you are trolling.

Just because your offense is in the top 5 in offense, doesn't mean your offense is necessarily good.
It could just mean they are on the field a lot, because our defense couldn't stop anybody the last 2 years, and we played catch up in a lot of the games.

Yea man, the offense under Payton has been terrible. That's why Brees was so ineffective last year, especially down the stretch

Tell me about those routes the Saints aren't implementing

A clue. Pick it up. If your def can't stop anybody it means...your offense is not on the field as much.
Which makes it what.....? C'mon you can do it. YES! It makes it harder to score. Good job. Now you can see by your own thought process that that statement was full of sh!t.

I think you have grown today thanks to Tigerdroppings

Goatmilker and Tigerbait1127,yall know all the answers, shouldn't both of you be running the team?

If your defense sucks and gives up points in less than 8 downs, then your offense gets on the field more. Come on you can do it, it's called your defense sucks so bad they give up TD's in 4 minute spans.
