Not going to disagree with that, but 50 catches for over 600 yards isn't the terrible season people make it out to be.
Plus he was on the cap for only $2 mil last season. If he doesn't step it up this year either take a paycut or get cut.

its not even about getting cut.
we've seen others take pay cuts before and maybe that's a whole separate issue.
I want him to do better but I know he's not Shockey and he's not Jimmy Graham.
Ben Watson scored a lot of TD's in his last year here and maybe that was just an anomaly.
If Fleener steps up and becomes more of a redzone threat I'll have no problem.

Only thuggy can defend guys like fleener or even ted ginn by posting their final season stats
I'm convinced the guy doesn't watch games to witness game changing drops by guys whose job description is to catch the ball
The saints have produced a consistent, losing production over the past few years and still no one has a fault He will predict another 12-4 season I'm sure
